While group therapy typically focuses on interpersonal dynamics, our psycho-educational programs make use of workbooks and on-line resources to build skills and coping solutions. Pre- and post-program assessments help you chart progress and define next steps. Group discussion provides opportunity for skills practice and strategizing. Although sessions are designed around demand and specific requests, new Chronic Pain Rehabilitation and Life Skills Coaching groups are forming each month. Enrollment is limited to 8 participants.
Life Skills and Wellness Group Programs: Designs for Life with Intention
I’ve designed this 5 part series to guide, support and educate. Each program provides practical tools and a focus on function. Content draws from "real world" scenarios and introduces the skills needed to maximize personal and workplace potential. Although delivered in a small group format, the sessions focus on interactive learning and skills practice, rather than group dynamics.
Each 90-minute program provides the human relations resources, insights, and practice needed to generate positive change. We’ll be using materials and self-assessment instruments to guide independent reflection. With no more than 8 participants in each group, the environment encourages open discussion of typical personal, family, and workplace challenges -- with plenty of opportunity to try out new skills. Day and evening programs are available. Please give me a call to see if this group is a good fit with your objectives.
